I know that MOST people buy bottled water. We did for a very long time until I started seriously couponing! I never would drink our tap water because of the taste and all the hype about tap water being unhealthy. I have to say that I really got turned onto Brita because I received a $4 or $5 dollar off coupon for any Brita system and so I bought one at Lowe’s and have used it ever since.
When you really start to coupon seriously, you begin to want to save money in all areas of your life. I just couldn’t see paying that much money for bottled water + the fact that I never re-used any of my bottles….alll that plastic went into the trash. Recycling is a whole other subject, but I have started working more on that myself!!
I have to say that the water from the Brita pitcher tastes just like bottled water and I highly recommend that you use one. It will save you money in the long run and it also keeps alot more plastic bottles out of the trash!
