Last week, my sister Mikki and I went grocery shopping at Kroger. We both had several things to pick up, and we were shopping the awesome 50% off sale that they had (with coupons of course). We were about halfway through our trip and Mikki was getting ready to grab a bottle of Kraft salad dressing. Right when she was reaching out to grab it, I saw her jerk back with a look of terror on her face and she let out a brief squall! She grabbed at her chest and then started laughing…I, all the while standing there like, “What the heck?!”.
Since I was a few feet away from her I had NO idea what it was that scared the daylights out of her, but I quickly saw what it was. Someone, a kid I’m sure, thought that it would be cute or funny (which it WAS!) to put a fake, plastic rat in between a few bottles of dressing. All she knew was that she reached to grab a bottle and instantly saw a TAIL and she freaked, hahahaaa! It was HILARIOUS! I’m just VERY happy that it wasn’t a real one! Ughhhhh…yuck!
What would you have done if you saw that tail too?? Would it have scared you? Would you have screamed?? I really wish I had that brief 60 seconds on video!!! ;)

Oh my… I think that I would have jumped back and let out a big breath! I just had to read this post….now I am thinking about RATS.
But thanks for the story.
Sorry Rebecca, didn’t mean to make you think too much about rats but I just HAD to write about it and show this pic off, haha! I’m just really glad it wasn’t ME that reached for the bottle of dressing
Haha, I put one of those on my husbands pillow one night when I knew he’d be out later than I had liked
Needless to say I knew what time he came home when he shrieked like a 6 year old and ran screaming the other direction
That is so funny Di! I love when the guys get scared like that and scream like little girls. hahahaa! They’re sometimes wayyy bigger chickens than us ladies
With Halloween around the corner I think we should keep our cameras ready for more of this to happen.
I’m pretty sure I would have knocked some kraft smooth off the shelf mid-run as I screamed.
I do like the idea of putting a toy on hubby’s pillow.
Priceless.
That would be great! I don’t know that I’ve ever seen Dale scared like that…I wonder what he would do?!? Hmmm….
